I've been designing guitars for a character i'm creating and these were a few of the wacky ideas that came out.

tattoo ideas + more

I'm still playing with the idea of getting a tattoo, and i'm thinking i'd like a larger piece than i originally thought. Like a ring or roses or something along those lines.
Also continuing with my sketching research, i really studied how to compose pages as well as alter points of view.

It seems like i've been re visiting animals this semester. The majority of my projects have dealt with them and i've really enjoyed researching them to understand their movement and form.

tattoo ideas

So lately I've been really wanting to get a tattoo. I've been experimenting on myself and I've decided that i'd like one on my wrist. Whether or not i end up getting something like this is another thing. Sometimes i just need to draw weird things so i decided to create a little demon and i named him "Spike." He's washed off now but little drawings like this end up inspiring me the rest of the day

These last 3 posts are all of sketches for works in progress. though some are just for fun. I like to have strong line quality in all of my work and i think that shows through strongest in my roughs and thumbnails.

This was my first attempt using Corel Painter 11. I've never used it before and i really liked the looks you could get with it. So for a first try i don't think it looks that bad. I call it "Cat & Mouse" :)
